Folding House

This inner city residence is a sculptural gesture designed around a courtyard garden. Its exterior architectural forms fold seamlessly into the interior. The house offers three interconnected zones: one for living and eating, two for sleeping. Separating the sleeping zones maximises privacy to the Master Bedroom retreat. An abundance of filtered natural light combines with the restrained monochromatic material pallet to create an astonishing sense of space and volume.
